UBS: Visa, MasterCard benefit if finance reform drops debit card interchange fee regulation
NEW YORK - Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. would benefit from a proposal that is circulating in Washington to block the regulation of fees that banks and card networks charge when consumers use debit cards, a UBS analyst said Friday.
