Trading market and market broker or stock broker are two things that cannot be separated. It is because trading system is not something that you can learn from books or something that you can do without experience, knowledge and skill. There is no such a beginner luck in trading system because if you are a beginner that is entering trading market without knowledge, experience and skill, the final outcome of your investment is very predictable which is zero profit with maximum loss. Here is the stock broker takes places, they are providing solutions for marketers to invest their money in the right path.

So, who is a stock broker? A stock broker is a professional who is buying and selling stocks or shares in trading markets. Yes, stock broker is person but very rarely for a stock broker to stand individually in trading market, most of them are working for a kind of broker agency or firm. Only those who are really professional and having advanced knowledge toward trading market are able to successfully standing as individual broker.

What is the job a stock broker? As mentioned above, a stock broker has main job in buying and selling stocks or shares on behalf of third parties that are hiring them to be their broker, most of them are investors, companies and departments that are using stock broker service to help them managing their investments. Speaking of the job desks of a stock broker is depending on the needs of each client. There are some clients that are hiring a stock broker to help them entering the trading market only though all instructions and decisions are made by the investors. It is because not everybody can take place as a stock broker though they are capable enough, because only those that are already fulfilled the requirements to be stock broker and licensed who can enter the marketplace. Moreover, there are also some clients that are hiring a stock broker because they need professional advices. In order to buy or sell stocks they need professional advices first to help them making the decisions. However, most of stock brokers are selling and buying stocks and shares based on their decisions but they are selling and buying products by using money invested by their clients. That is why the profit shared between stock broker and investor is varying based on the job desks and contract made and signed by both sides.

Moreover, speaking of the requirements that are supposed to be fulfilled by stock brokers in order to be licensed is also varying in each country. The requirements are including passing several exams and tests that are especially designed by specific department or representative in each country and all of them are supposed to be employed by licensed broker firm. The processes or steps taken for the exams and tests in each country are different, for example is in United States in order to be licensed as a stock broker a person should pass the exam well known as Series 7 exam and in Hong Kong there are three exam steps to be passed, while in Canada the test is well known as CSC 1 & 2 and CPH.
