Fund Flows Continues Boost the Market
The market propelled by a good news on the US House of Representatives' approval of laws for extending the public debt ceiling about three months, decreasing risks for the likely downgrade of the US credit level that could happen next month. The Trinity has studied the fund flows' impact on the SET Index, as far as a buying value is concerned. While, all foreign investors averaged more than Bt10 billion per day.
The SET Index will further its momentum for about two weeks with a rising of 1.4 % from the current level of 1,470 points.
Among this week's major issues is January 29-30 FOMC meeting. The Fed statement can be hawkish after the US economic figures emerged very satisfactory and that might disappoint the market for temporary period.
The overall environment relieved on less concern over extended of the US public debt ceiling. While, another major risk remains on Italy's election late next month. It is an opportunity for the new prime minister to decide not to continue a tightening measure as agreed with the Troika. For this period to middle of February, the macro picture has increased; however, the SET Index's valuation remains high.
